Honda / Acura H-Beam Rods
H-beam connecting rod is manufactured from 4340
steel forgings. The aircraft quality forgings are
100% machined into a proven H-beam configuration.
The manufacturing process requires heat treating and
shot peening to aerospace standards. Inspection will
reveal a superior level of dimensional accuracy,
finish, and workmanship. Tolerances are held to
strict engineering requirements. The pin bushings
are aluminum bronze. The rod sets are balanced
within ± 1 gram. Rods include 3/8” diameter ARP 2000
bolts. Torque specs for 3/8 bolts is 45 ft. lbs
and have 0.0060 stretch.
